Article 215. The right of municipal property.
1. Property owned by urban and rural settlements, as well as other municipalities, is municipal property. 2. On behalf of the municipal entity, the rights of the owner are exercised by the local self-government bodies and the persons specified in Article 125 of this Code. 3. Property in municipal ownership shall be assigned to municipal enterprises and institutions in possession, use and disposal in accordance with this Code (Articles 294, 296). Local budget funds and other municipal property not assigned to municipal enterprises and institutions constitute the municipal treasury of the respective urban, rural settlement or other municipality.
