Article 323. The rights of the creditor in the event of a joint and several obligation.
1. With the joint obligation of debtors, the creditor has the right to demand the fulfillment both of all debtors jointly, and of any of them individually, moreover, both completely and in part of the debt. 2. A creditor who has not received full satisfaction from one of the joint debtors shall have the right to demand that which was not received from the other joint debtors. Joint and several debtors remain obliged until the obligation is fully discharged.
