Article 919. Storage at a pawnshop.
1. The contract of storage at a pawnshop of things belonging to a citizen is a public contract (Article 426). 2. The conclusion of a storage contract at a pawnshop shall be certified by issuing to the pawnshop a passport to the depositor. 3. A thing deposited at a pawnshop shall be assessed by agreement of the parties in accordance with the prices of things of this kind and quality, usually established in the trade at the time and place of their acceptance for storage. 4. The pawn shop shall be obliged to insure in favor of the bailor, at its own expense, the things accepted for storage in the full amount of their assessment made in accordance with paragraph 3 of this article.
