Article 945. The right of the insurer to assess the insured risk.

1. When concluding a property insurance contract, the insurer shall have the right to inspect the property to be insured, and, if necessary, schedule an examination in order to establish its actual value. 2. When concluding a personal insurance contract, the insurer shall have the right to conduct an examination of the insured person to assess the actual state of his health. 3. The assessment of the insured risk by the insurer on the basis of this article is not obligatory for the insured, who is entitled to prove otherwise.
