Article 946. The secret of insurance.
The insurer is not entitled to disclose information about the policyholder, the insured person and beneficiary, the state of their health, as well as the property status of these persons, obtained by him as a result of his professional activity. For violation of the secrecy of insurance, the insurer, depending on the type of violated rights and the nature of the violation, shall be liable in accordance with the rules provided for in Article 139 or Article 150 of this Code.
