Article 991. Commission.

1. The committent shall be obliged to pay the commissioner a remuneration, and in the case when the commission agent has taken up the guarantee for the execution of the transaction by a third party (del credere), also an additional remuneration in the amount and in the manner established in the commission agreement. If the contract does not stipulate the amount of remuneration or the procedure for its payment and the amount of remuneration cannot be determined based on the terms of the contract, the remuneration is paid after the commission contract is executed in the amount determined in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 424 of this Code. 2. If the contract of commission has not been executed for reasons dependent on the committent, the commission agent shall retain the right to commission and also reimbursement of expenses incurred.
